A moan on a Sunday

I am getting a bit fed up with people who put names on genes and when you contact them to ask if there could be a connection totally ignore the request. I have had this happen to me several times. If they don't know, if they haven't done enough research then please say so, otherwise it is a case of repeated e-mails to no avail. Sorry about the moan but just wanted to get it off my chest. Regards Diane

Ive only just had feedback this week from mails that Ive totally forgotten about, and actually gone 3 generations ahead, and recently had a response from someone who asked for help on a brickwall thread 5 weeks ago-turns out she asked for help-then buggered off for a month on hols-so I wasnt able to ask for further info to help them. Some members just have a different grade of interest-sort of a dabble here and a dabble there-if it gets too involved, they either give up or go looking for something else. This is a recurring gripe, but i'm afraid some people just arent that bothered despite signing up.
