Lil, What a fluke if there was a connection!! My known TYSON relatives are Betsy (b. Camerton), Tom (b. Irton), Hannah (b. Camerton) and Eleanor (b. Bolton) children of Edward Tyson (blacksmith) and Isabella Fooster/Foster (not confirmed). If you come across these names in your tree make sure you get back to me! I know by 1861 the family including Edward Tyson were in Bolton, Lancashire. Regards, Emma x |

You'll be wanting the clock to slow down next week! Have a brilliant time - and remember that if you don't have time to do everything you want, it'll give you the excuse to go back again! Enjoy. |

Hi Emma On my previous thread 'is anyone else as daft' I said that I had found my gr grandfathers brother and that he gave me the creeps. Well he lived in Irton, Cumberland and he married Sarah Eleanor TYSON. They had three children that I am aware of, Mary Ann, Maggie and May all born 1880-1895. Are they any relation. Little |

Early tomorrow morning I wil be of to Cumberland for a week, the first time in .... years. I will visit Egremont, Ulpha, Irton etc and stand where my family once stood. I feel like a small child at christmas, as I am sitting watching the clock and praying that the hands would go round faster. Please wish me look when for when I visit Whitehaven RO and have before me untold messages from my families past. |
