How can I find this marriage?

Inknow that Mary Morgan from LLangwm Pembrokeshire married a man by the surname Gasson in the early 1890's as their first son was born in 1894 & registered in Haverfordwest. I have looked to see if I can find records of this marriage in Pembrokeshire, but no luck. I know that Mr Gasson was a RN seaman. Any ideas where I might find details of this union? |

FREEBMD isn't working at the mo, but you can search both names on that. ie ''Mary Morgan'' and Gasson in the Spouse surname box. I would suggest searching anywhere in the country and just one year at a time, as the search will time out otherwise!! Start with 1894 and go backwards. Do you know that Mary was single in 1891?? If you do, then you should find the marriage after that date. If no luck then come back to this thread and see if some one has any more ideas........ Merry |

hi. this is the only reference to GASSON in Pembrokeshire for 20 years either side of 1890 Quality Name Year Quarter Record Type District County Gasson, Florence Mary 1899 March Births Haverfordwest Dyfed Pembrokeshire Gasson, John Henry 1894 September Births Haverfordwest Dyfed Pembrokeshire Gasson, Rose Mary 1899 March Births Haverfordwest Dyfed Pembrokeshire I would assume that they married somewhere other than wales. Could you get the birth certificate and go from that? Claire |
