I've just been going through pages and pages and pages of Welsh baptisms on the IGI - you know the kind of thing, Evan Evans, John Evans, William Evans, Evan Johns, William Johns, Evan Williams etc when I found this 601. ANEURIN HUMPHREY PENDEREL LLEWELYN - International Genealogical Index Gender: Male Christening: 25 MAR 1845 Maesteg, Glamorgan, Wales Sadly he's not one of mine, but how easy he will be to find! nell back to Jenkin Evans, Margaret Jones, their daughter Margaret Jones who married John Evans...

Well I did find an unusually-named Williams in my husband's tree - he is Assia in 1881 and Esiah in 1891 (aged 13, working as a coal miner, poor chap). Real name? Isaiah! nell

Stop it Nell, you know how these addicted people can't stop themselves from looking into these things..... Aneurin was the son of the local vicar, Richard P Llewelyn, aged 47 in 1861...... Aneurin was still at home in 1871.......(a grocer....) He was still single in 1881 and living alone.....(live stock keeper....) Doh, can't find him after that - but the fix has done me good - now I feel as if some people cared about him for a few mins lol Happy Hunting Nell! Merry
