Try Scotsfind at www.scotsfind.org/ - they have a database of Monumental Inscriptions from St. Cuthbert's (though I'm sorry to say I didn't find any of mine in there), and they also have Register of Interments, Greyfriars Burying Ground, Edinburgh, 1658-1700. . Kate. |

I've just had brilliant service from the people in Edinburgh who look after 37 cemetries in Edinburgh I emailed them on Monday asking if they could confirm the burial in a certain graveyard. They emailed next day asking for date of death etc. And today I have an email giving me the exact plot number of the grave. Unfortunately for me it is unmarked, which also means the CD I ordered on Wednesday (ever impatient!) of MI's in this graveyard will be a more use as a coaster. So if you need info on burials in Edinburgh email the cemetries dept from the website a www.edinburgh.gov(.)uk go to Council and then a-z of council services. Karen |
