Bernice Thanks! Annette Cehck out their website: www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/ They have some military records, non-conformists registers, details of legal trials, records of Metropolitan Policemen etc. You can pre-order up to 3 documents before you arrive. It's very impressive. I've been 3 times and each time I find more things - the library has a great collection of info on each county, including directories, histories, and some parish records. nell |
