for Vance Needham (usa) and Florence Palmer(uk) I believe they married in about 1919 - 1920 in UK and then left for USA. Any details would be great.

I'm not sure. I think there are some immigration records on Ancestry, but I don't usually look at them, so not sure what there is. I'll go and have a look. Kath. x

try the Ellis Island website. You will have to register, but only wants your name & email address. Shirley

Putting the names into Ancestry, searching on immigration, doesn't bring up any results. Sorry. Kath. x

did a quick look on the Ellis island site but only a Florence Needhame.single, from Ireeland came up. Its poss ,that as she married an American she didnt have to thro Ellis Island, which was for immigrants. Her marraige may have entitled her to automatic entry. I found the American Embassy in London, very helpful with enquiries when I was tracing my MIL sis who went to the USA. Just a thought. Shirley
