Google and find out! I think it is an ex-naval person who received a pension but lived outside the naval hospital in Greenwich. nell |

I found my Greenwich (out) Pensioner listed in the National Archives catalogue. Go this site: http://www.catalogue.nationalarchives.gov.uk/search.asp Then type the name of the man you are researching and adm 29 in the department box at the bottom. These records are on microfilm at Kew and list the man's service record. If he's not there, go to the red bar, choose 'search the archives' and Documents Online from the drop down menu. He may appear in the Register of Seamen's services. |
