Can anyone advise me please. I have a 1881 marriage cert which was registered in Charlton, KENT and a birth cert registered in Lewisham, KENT in 1885. My geography is not that good, but I thought they both were in London. My query is - if I am requesting a look up, or other help, what area should I put - London or Kent. Many thanks. Steph

Yep they would have defo been Kent, just same with Greenwich and then you get all the docklands south of the river coming up Surrey. I guess it helps when youve been brought up there like me.
