Can anyone advise me please. I have a 1881 marriage cert which was registered in Charlton, KENT and a birth cert registered in Lewisham, KENT in 1885. My geography is not that good, but I thought they both were in London. My query is - if I am requesting a look up, or other help, what area should I put - London or Kent. Many thanks. Steph |

Yep they would have defo been Kent, just same with Greenwich and then you get all the docklands south of the river coming up Surrey. I guess it helps when youve been brought up there like me. |
