Hi all Not seen much on this subject so thought I would share my findings. After floating round a few websites, a kind person looked in the Crockford Clerical Directory for my great uncle. I knew he was ordained because of what the family had told me and that he had taken the marriage service for my nan and grandad. The directory tell you where they were ordained and what churches they were then placed at. As I found out he was ordained in Manchester, somebody on genes kindly gave me the Manchester Library website and through their archives at a cost of £2.60 I have ordination papers covering several years, a baptism certificate and various correspondence about him and a letter he wrote. Absolutely over the moon so it's definately worth following up. Elaine
