FHS fair at gateshead

Has anyone been to a FHS fair - just wondering what it is like and whether its worth a visit It at Gateshead Int Stadium at 10 am this Saturday Christina

I plan to go, too. Last year I was on holiday and missed it. See you there Anne. PS, It is also Heritage weekend. Lots of places to visit. Booklet available at Information Office, Grainger St, NCL and probably at most libraries.

We'll be there with our stall, in the left corner as you enter the room, call at our stall, ask and we'll give you a free official GR namebadge. Gateshead is the 2nd largest fair held in the country, well worth a visit. Regards Carol www.genealogyprinters(.)com

Just had a look at histoy fair site it looks really good. I only live 20miles away so i,m really going to try to go May be all GNR members should wear a carnation as was suggested. We could have a chat over coffee. Ive never been to one of these fairs before wonder if its best to go early Maureen

Maureen, I plan to go early, most places tend to get busier as the day goes on. Haven't got carnation, could wear/carry geranium Anne
