I want to enter my Grandad's 1st wife into my family tree but don't really know how to do it. I already have his 2nd marriage in there and I know he ha children by his 1st marriage Help Please Mary |

Mary I am assuming you are talking the tree programme on this site, if so you need to select the man and then just add partner and you should then be able to enter the first wife's details Regards Sue |

You don't say whether its in this site or a different family tree maker, but you just add another partner I think. You might need to delete the existing one, so that the first wife doesn't appear to be the second. nell |

I think that if you add in another partner, the marriage-date automaticlly sequences them in the right order. Christine |
