Have just found the marriage entry for my great x3 grandparents in 1847 which I have been looking for for the last 2 years!! Her name was Rachel Naylor & his David Malkin. Surprise, surprise they couldn't write & so the entry is down as Rachel Nayler & David Machin. Why didn't I look for Nayler before, why?? I love FreeBMD sometimes!!

Me too!!! I'd been searching for the marriage of Grant Millard for about 15 years on and off. I'd searched the indexes at the GRO several times, the problem was I didn't know the wife's surname, as I hadn't found my ancestors birth cert. Well, I finally found the birth cert of one of their other children (the only one of the 9 who was registered!) and armed with Sarah's name I searched using her. Hey presto! Up came the marriage to a Grant MILLWARD and all the children's births both on FreeBMD and on the IGI too!!!!!
