I know a few of you on here have used this site, what did you think of it? Good value - better value than 1837? Reliable? Accurate? I seem to remember months ago there being a few teething problems with it - have things improved? I am looking for my gm's first marriage and a kind lady on here suggested familyrelatives. I've had a quick look and it seems quite user friendly - just wanted some opinions Lisa |

It's good for 1866-1920. Anything outside that, and it's a toss-up between that and 1837. It's useless for anything pre-1866 though. Those details haven't been included yet. |

I agree, 1866-1920 absolutely brilliant, gives you every match in the country for that name if you want. |

If you use it, don't forget it won't search middle names (ie if you ask for John Thomas Smith it will say, ''Nil Results''!!). Another thing - you can view all the results you ever asked for previously on it - all your data is automatically archived, so when you have accidentally lost the bit of paper you wrote it on, you don't have to pay again!! Yes, I remember that problem when the site first started and we were all moaning that defo people werent on there. It was only by accident I left a middle name out and of course up shot the right person! |

Hmm, might give it a go. Ancestry no use as only up to 1909/10, don't think granny would have married at the age of 9 or 10! Lisa |
