Depending on the county-there might be a ref to it in a county bmd index-=just type in the county name followed by bmd and click on any links available. |

Hi Thankyou all for your replies. I am looking for my auntie Mary Wardle born in Swinton, Manchester. She was born about 1925 I think. My mother was born in 1919 so she would be born after that. She died in 1940, I know this because my sister has got a condolance letter from someone regarding the death dated 26/7/1940. All we know is that Mary was badly burned in a fire accident. She was in a sanitarium for a while and I think she died there, I think the cause of death was put down as consumption. We could never get any info from the family, they just didn't want to talk about it. But my sisters and I are curious and would be grateful of any help. Thankyou Best Wishes Barbara |
