hi all, full marks again for GRO. sent off for 2 marriage certs on Sunday last, thats 4 working days and BINGO they are in the post today. Why oh why cant LPOOL do the same? The address on one of the certs which was for my uncle is given as my home address, where I was born, and I never knew he ever lived with us. Wonder where he was actually living? TED. |

Ted - I realise it was probably a slip of the finger but don't you think you have become a bit over obsessed?? Most of us wonder 'why they changed their names', 'why they never got married', 'why they are not on the 1871 census' - BUT - you (in your last sentence) - 'wonder why he was actually living'!!! ???????? Hi Ted, Glad to hear you got your certs quick It is true about Liverpool i put in for Grandmothers birth cert At least 3 months ago, they wrote and told me they couldnt find it but low and behold what comes in the post last week Grandmothers cert regards June |

I am jealous ordered mine on saturday and nothing yet just the get you started pack which is very helpful has lots of websites and info, but I would rather have the certs |
