Hi Janice, No I didn't look closely at the pics, just saw SMITH and stopped! I'll have another look (but I still won't be buying it, even if it IS my family!) Sam x

Sam, Did you look at the photos? One of them is of the handwritten entries and there are some Withers on there: Douglas James Molly Sylvia who married Thomas Robert Malloy, Co Antrim James George Doreen Emmie Janice PS George should be James George - my message won't edit properly.

I have just had a look as I have WITHERS in my tree although I definately wouldn't 'Buy it now' for £180!! And how it can make a 'Stunning christmas gift to any family with the name SMITH' is quite beyond me, with Smith being one of the most common surnames in England, the chances of being related to one of the Smith's listed must be extremely remote! Unfortuately it give no details of the Withers names in it and with the bidding currently at £50, I won't be enquiring about them either. Thanks for letting us know, I'm just totally gobsmacked that anyone could try and make so much money from something that any serious researcher would probably give their right arm to have. Sam x
