Might be FS - meaning female servant. There is also MS = male servant. Anne

Hello Everyone I have a relative on the Berkshire 1841 Census in Jesus Hospital, Bray. In the Occupation column there is an entry 'I.S'. She is 14. Any suggestions? Steve
