Hi Is it just me or do other people feel the same i cant be bothered with Family Tree, For about 2 weeks now every time i think i will have a go i just cant be bothered. I dont know what it is any suggesting please regards June

Guess you need to perhaps get your teeth into another line, or just leave the whole subject for a while

I know how you feel June. There's some days when I just waste loads of time looking at message boards etc. Then I select a small part of my family and see what I need to do for it. Before I know it I'm off again with far more than I ever thought needing to be found. I find I need to set aside a BIG chunk of time though - otherwise it doesn't seem 'worth' starting, and the time is wasted instead. Anne

June, hi, have a rest from it, forget it for a while, then once its out of your system, give it a week or so and something will start you off again, then its back to the big slog, It happens to us all, thats why we have books full of names and not yet in order, some of which youve forgotten all about till you dig them out. Just think of the cash you will save not sending off for certs, treat yourself to something nice with the money. TED.

Doesn't matter June. It will still be there when you come back! I've had a long break from mine. Helped other people get started and did lookups with/for others. A couple of weeks ago decided to go back to my own as 1871 and 1861 had come online in the meantime. Have now found a lot of new stuff and renewed my enthusiasm. Hi June, i feel just like that at the moment but i have two massive brick walls that i just can't knock down, but untill i do i can't consentrate on other names i do have a kind lady from another site helping me with them but untill i hear from her i can't do anything. Gill

Hi Everyone, Thanks for replies glad its not just me And i have no brick walls that is stopping me, It is just that i cant get motivated just yet .
