im kim and im 37 yrs old up unitll 2 yrs ago my mother never told me who my father was she just used to aviod the question and i used to hate upsetting her but a couple of yrs ago she became ill and told me about my father, i added my details on here and soon my fathers niece contacted me which was great but after long and many emaisl she has stoped contacting me , she seemed real nice and did explain that her family was at fued already and she didnt realy want tomake it any worse by telling her fathers brother that she contacted his daughter but although i can understand why she doesnt want to be the one to break the news i feel dishartened that iv got so far but hit a brick wall has anyone been through this

Kim Are you trying to contact your birth father? Or is he dead, which is why you were hoping the niece would mention it to her dad? nell

i know this is in hindsight,but it would have been better if you had dealt with your father yourself one on one-it was your business afterall.Trying to find info through your cousin was always going to make things difficult in the future.I presume he is still alive-sorry if he isnt.
