If she was a adopted pre 1927 there will be no formal records to find.Until then children were just passed about and brought up by whoever was willing jess x

Have found that my gmother Mary Featherstone b 1887 in Burslem Staffordshire was adopted by Joseph Baker b 1860 Tunstall Staffs and his wife Winniefred b1866 Glasgow Scotland any help please with finding out when she was adopted thanks val
