When you have the tree on screen go to File, Export Descendant Tree as, then select PDF, this will create a pdf file of the tree which is like a picture, you can zoom in and out and scroll across it to read it. You can send this file as an attachment to an e-mail to anybody and all they will need to open it is Adobe Acrobat reader which most computers have on anyway. Hi Lilly If they haven't ANY family tree software, you can usually export a report in a different format: rich text format, html etc. I don't use FTM mself, but imagine that you'd be offered the option, rather than printing the file. If they have PAF, Legacy etc, you can send them a gedcom, which they can import. |
