whilst looking through parish record buriels i have found 2 'unknowns' first one in Leigh-on-mendip, unknown man killed in pub brawl second in stogursey, man pulled out of sea at Holford. anyone got missing rellies??????????????? Bev |

I find these quite regularly as well. The latest in Silkstone, Yorks was 'unknown man found burned to death near the bridge. By appearance 26 years of age' It was the 26 that amused me - how did they guess that rather than 'about 25' or 'about 30'. Anne |
