wildcard error

I ordered a death cert that had a number missing on the page, but they sent it just fine! I just entered the number as it was given eg 1_7. |

If you mean that it is listed as one or more characters unreadable, it isn't quite the same as a wildcard, because a wildcard is what you use on searching. What you have to do is look up the actual image and try to work out what it says on there. If you still can't read it it might be worth contacting the GRO to ask them what to do. Kate. |
