Just found a relative who was a Town Councillor in 1861 - Things can't have changed that much - this must mean a bit of scandal or 'tasty gossip' don't you think?? How do I find out more?????? Dea |

hi dea. great news i had a lady mayor in mine only in 1925 so it was easy to research i just googled the town council and put ex mayors in the broswer. mine turned out to be boring but with yours so far in the past that has got to be worth searching. the most exciting one i have heard of is a friend of mine who lives in usa has researched her tree and found that some relative was part of the prosecution at the salem witch trials.- how i long for a bit of something to get my teeth in to. good luck love linda x x |
