Ann, do you have a Family treemaker 2005 program? If you do, you go to an individual on the tree and click on the icon for web search and the program automatically finds all the matches for that name. Actually, I said it hadnt been helpful today but I just found an 1861 census entry for one of my GGFx3 which is useful as it confirms that he was born in Penzance.

I had forgotten about this facility on the familytreemaker program. Have been playing with it this evening and though I havent found anything concrete, it would have been handy when I first started this business as it brings up all the census bmd matches for your chosen name. It has also given me some further food for thought re the elusive Elizabeth Selby of Norfolk but showing just where the very few Selbys were in that county.
