Am I Allowed To Create A One Name Study Website?

Dear Friends Please could somebody possibly tell me if I am allowed to use information taken from the Parish Records to create a one name study website. Many thanks for any help with this Regards David |

I think it depends on whether the source of your parish records was a transcription owned by someone else, in which case they have copyright. But if you got them from the original parish registers, I think that's OK. But I'm not a lawyer! nell |

Thanks Alan I am a little aprehensive about it as I did transcribe it from film and wouldnt want to fall foul of any copyright laws. regards David |
