How do you delete messages but keep a contact??

Can't you go to Message Centre, Inbox and then tick the boxes for all the received messages you don't need any more?? Then click Delete at the bottom? Maybe I've missed the point?? If you delete all the messages from someone in this way, you will still have them on your contacts list, unless you delete them from there too! Merry |

Hi, I am desperately trying to tidy up my bulging message and contacts list. I have one contact who has sent me about 30 messages - I have pasted them into word and printed them so I still have them for reference and now want to delete all these old messages. I presume I have to keep one of them in order to keep him on the contat list but it seems I have to open each one and delete each seperately - it then takes me back to the main contacts list and I have to find him again and go through the process for each message - Added to which, after I delete them, they don't seem to disappear !!! SSSSSSSoooooo frustrating ! Is there an easier way? Dea x |
