Julie, So do you copy and paste the whole return for the whole household or just the line concerning that person? And how do those Notes sections appear, say if you were doing a Genealogy Report? (still got to get my head around all these reports!) Sharon

How do *you* put in census return details for each individual? Do you add it as a new fact and if so do you then type the line taken from that census after it? EG Fact named as '1861 census' Detail entered 'John Smith Head M 23 Labourer Preston' And is there any facility to input census returns as a whole because I like to see them as family groups not just split per individual. If there's not a way of doing this I think I'll have to set up spreadsheet per surname and have the census returns in that. thanks Sharon (just got FTM 2006 so bound to have loads of Qs!)
