looking for stray relatives i found the after 6months old babyUPORND DAU can anybody tell me what it means please eileen edith m battey abt 1877 yorks daughter john moron battey abt 1879 son-in-law lily battey abt 1895 yorks upornd dau james chapman abt 1846 cornwall head sorry i am late doing this but i couldnt find the page its in the 1901 census my eyes are going as well she would have been 6 years old eileen

It is mistranscribed. Should be Granddau = granddaughter Beth :)

It's overexposed and hard to read and mistranscribed a lot. This is what I make it: Civil parish Cudworth Address Prospect St No 1 James Chapman, 55, Landrake Cornwall, Head, Colliery yard man G Above [means Above Ground] (worker) Edith M Batty, 24, Low Valley Yorks, Daur John Moxon Batty, 22, ???? Derbys, Son in Law, Bricklayer's Labourer (worker) Lily Do, 6 mo, Cudworth Yorks, Grand dau RG13/4309 folio 5 District Barnsley Sub-district Darton Enumeration district 1 (Cudworth, part of) Page 1 Schedule no 2 Lily is definitely 6 months, not 6 Low Valley in on the border of Darfield and Wombwell about 4 miles from where they were living Can't get that birthplace in Derbyshire. 1881 and 1891 both say Belper, can't see anything near Belper that might fit
