why cant I see same names in someones Tree

somebody gave me permission to view their tree because we have a rellie with the same birth date and area so I allowed her to see mine and vica versa but when I viewed hers there is nobody with that name even when I do a search on her tree why would this be or am I doing it wrong thanks |

You could also try viewing their relatives rather than going straight to their tree. |

It could just be that she recognised her rellie on the Names Search and wrote to you. You have him/her on your tree, but she hasn't added him/her to her tree!! I have lost track of the number of people who say, ''Your John Smith born 1822 is probably my 3xg-grandfather - please have access to my tree.'' When I look at their tree that only have themselves and their mum and dad on it!! lol OK so I'm exagerating a bit, but you get what I mean!!? Merry |

thats exactly what happened Merry there was only her and a few recent rellies on there , why did she bother to let me view her tree then ??? |
