Brenda, I think it may have been the aol site, as you say, it isn't working at the moment. The other one I found very blurred when enlarged. Valerie, I tried that one as well, I found it but not showing what I need, But Thanks to you both. Jean

This also has all sorts of references: http://homepages.gold.ac.uk/genuki/LND/#Maps It may have been the Lost London Streets that you were referring to: http://members*aol*com/WHall95037/london.html Either it has moved or is being revamped, but currently it does not seem to be available.

Thanks for that Nell. I will try the gendocs one, (have been on the Booth one) It was one I hadn't heard of before, was going out and when I came back couldn't remember where it was. I don't think it was headed maps but came in the middle of someones thread. Thanks, Jean

There's a list of Victorian streets here: http://www.gendocs.demon*co.uk/lon-str.html There's also a fantastic resource which you can find by googling 'Charles Booth online' which has Victorian maps and you can compare them with modern ones on the same page and zoom in and out. the Victorian maps are colour coded to indicate level of poverty/wealth. nell

A few days ago a site for victorian streets was mentioned. I can't remember which thread it came under but it sounded very good. Can anyone jog my memory please?
