I have an Albert Dennis born UK 1887 who emigrated to Canada with his brother William in the early 1900's. Albert married a Mary E (Something). They settled in Owen Sound, Ontario. Are there any Canadian marriage records online where I could get Mary's maiden name? Would there also be an immigration record? |

Brian, North American shift responding. :~) Here are some records, but I've only found a small percentage of my ancestors, so I'm not sure how complete it is. Hope it helps. I'm off to work now; I'll try to think of other sites. There are some very helpful Canadians who will probably have better ideas before I return home. Good luck with your search. http://homepages.rootsweb*com/~maryc/ontmarr.htm (remember to replace * with .) PS I use this site to see if there are records, then try to find them another way (this site charges for records, but it is a wonderful site when I've used them). http://www*ingeneas*com/free/index.html |
