I put the address where they were born on the birth cert if I have it mainly for my own records

Couldn't agree more! One of the main moans on here is that GR don't make the instructions clear enough and easier to find. In answer to your question, I'd give as much information as you have. If I know the exact town where my ancestors were born, then I list that with the county and country, or just the county and the country if I'm not certain. This can make searching using the name search facility so much easier, especially if its quite a common name, and narrows down the likely matches significantly. Lou

I am a bit confused. When it says 'Where Born' when I am adding people how specific should it be for Gene's Reunited? This question doesn't seem to be answered on the FAQ link. Should it be general and list the Country, or more specific and list the County or very specific and list the Town? I wish that the web site stated more so there was more uniformity which would make searching a little easier. Thanks! Cindy
