missing births-can anyone help

I have a family with 7 children,with the surname of Spall.I have found birth dates of the first 4,the 4th being Eric Cecil 1907,Yarmouth,but cannot find the last 3,Olga,Gerald and Lorna(the youngest) .She died in 1944 aged 29yrs.I have searched the indexes in the FHO,have I missed something?

Not sure what you mean by the indexes in the FHO? Have you gone through the GRO indexes? nell

I have been to my local family history office and searched the birth indexes from 1907-1915(all on microfiche)

Hi Sammy, Mothers maiden name was Walker,they also had a house in Leicester.

This is the only birth record I can find between 1913 (when mother's maiden name was first recorded) until 1920, which fits (from Family Relatives): Spall Frances - Walker - Southwell.7b 981 Birth Q1 1915 But it's not any of ''your'' names! Merry

Rebecca - could they have been born in another country, or even at sea? There are GRO overseas indexes which might possibly contain their births. Kate.

Will check the overseas indexes,thankyou for the tip.I just checked Lorna's gravestone details, Lorna Patricia Spall died 1st August 1945 aged 30yrs,this Frances could be her.I will check the death register. thankyou

Olga and Gerald only died in the last few years,I know Olga 's married name was Neate,does anyone know if the death registers go up to 2005? thankyou

Many thanks Smiley sammmy I was beging to think there is a family secret(adopted children) This is my Olga.My father informed me tonight thet it was Gerald's son who died recently.Gerald Rupert Spall died before his wife,and she died in 1987,is this 1837 online any good,does it use PDF(this crashes my computor) Beki
