you wont believe me but I couldnt see him on the damn census nor mary ann his daughter.........I had hoped to find out who her mother was but if I remember rightly the handwriting on 1837 was so terrible that I dont think I stand a chance of a cert for either her or Martin her husband (cant find him on that census either maybe there was a war on!! Kaz

Can't help with her mother but John Muncey was on 1861 census - it says unmarried but that MAY mean he was a widdow?? - born 1803 - he is a shoemaker which makes me think it may be him. - born Gt. Conhill, Essex, - a lodger in Southwark, St. Savior, Surrey. Ref RG9/315. Hope it helps. Dea x
