FreeBMD up to 1975????!

There are a few recent entries on there. I think some people have added extracts from the BMD indexes that they took from microfiche or microfilm or from the actual volumes when researching their own family trees or a particular surname. FreeBMD let people do this as long as the information is not from a site such as 1837 online, and as long as it is from the BMD indexes! Kate.

Maybe I'm the only one who didn't know, but yesterday I just typed in a surname for births in the Greater London area, and it brought up names to June 1975!!!! Unfortunately none of the others I tried went past 1910, but some of you might get lucky!!
