Sorry, but I've lost the reference again ... can someone tell me please the name of the 'international playboy' in the 1881 Census ... the online version. (For those reading who haven't got a clue what I'm on about, this was a spurious entry made probably by a transcriber - and has been a real laugh.) Rosemary, Thank you, thank you, thank you ..... yes, that's the one! Apparently this was a modern 'addition' to the census, as one of the residents was allegedly born in Pakistan ... which only came into existence in more modern times - 1960s? Thanks once again. Regs Jane |
