I got some through this site Linda, www.bdm.govt.nz but I already knew a year of death, I'm not sure about searching for the BMD itself if you do not know when it occurred. There are a couple of members from NZ so they should be able to advise you about that. Sam

How can you get NZ Birth, Marriages and Deaths? Anyone know please? Thanks KLinda
