can anyone tell me if its free to search rolls in local libraries |

Electoral rolls are free to search, but check that the library you want to go to has them. Records offices and local history centres sometimes have them too. Older ones can be quite frail, or may be bound or on microfilm. If you want to look at a current electoral roll, you may only see the 'edited' version. nell |
