Just been on FreeBMD and it says: The FreeBMD Database was last updated on Fri 19 Aug 2005 and currently contains 105,924,873 distinct records (128,716,618 total records). Going back there now!! Kate. |

I noticed too that lots more info been updated but also that a lot of it has reference numbers missing - lots of * * [ ] etc Jan xx |

Yes, I noticed lots of [] as well. What's more, if you look at the scan of the original, the number is in some cases quite easily readable! Are they overworking their transcribers? Or perhaps I am hallucinating - we shall see when the certificate I have ordered from an 'unreadable' number arrives - or doesn't, if you follow me. Tina |
