I used to use Norton Anti-Virus and Internet Explorer and was having lots of problems so I ditched them both in favour of AVG Anti-Virus and Mozella Firefox. I have had no problems since.

In the past I've had problems accessing certain pages on well-established and reputable websites, although not GR. The answer was for me to download a different browser, and OPERA was suggested. I did this and it solved the problem, I've no experience with Firefox though. As with Firefox, Opera and Internet Explorer co-exist on the hard drive and I use either depending on various circumstances. I thought that various browsers tackle access security issues in different ways, and that Windows XP (SP2) was sometimes not fully implemented by some websites, thus causing occasional problems. Hope this helps.

Thanks Tracy i am not sure either but i will give anything a try. The thing is i have been able to get into it a few times .i have done nothing to my computer at alli am sooo confused Val

You can download Firefox from here... http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/ If you install it, you can use that instead of IE. IE will still be on your PC though. Not sure why they said to use it....

I have been unable to view Family tree page for about 2 weeks now and have had numerous e-mails from support about this. They have said that there is nothing they can do about it and surgest i try Firefox brouser instead of internet explorer,and if i have a firewall or antivirus software check and make sure the security levels are not set too high. As i am not very up on computers can anyone tell me how to change my brouser and how to check my antivirus software. Confused Val
