Ill do me best guys. Thats if Brenda doesnt shoot me for being too thick! I better close this as now as I dont want to let anyone down and 3 hours isnt very long when you are looking up stuff and unwinding microfilm across the records office floor. Will get back to you tomorrow night or Sunday. |

Thank you for the kind offer, could you please look up a marriage for me - if possible. A William Elsey (sometimes spelt Elsy or Elsie) to an Elizabeth Unknown should be in Walpole St Peter or St Andrew, Norfolk. Their first child Sarah was born mid to late 1840. Knowing my family the marriage could be anytime around the birth - so the 9-10 months pregnancy doesnt really come in Also if possible could you look up another marriage for me of James Bartram (who I believe was a Widower) to Charlotte Lines or Lynes in Corpusty or Saxthorpe. Their child, Mary Ann Bartram Lines was born 17 April 1841 so the marriage will be after this. If a problem - no worries Regards Sue |

Heather, If you have time, could you possibly check for a baptism for me, please? James Clements born Attlebridge, Norfolk 1841/2, parents William Clements and Mary Bushell. His Birth does not seem to be registered. His parents couldn't write. lol |

Fine Nell, will have a look for that. The last time I did a 'base born' for someone in the Norfolk registers it gave a second name for the kiddie, which was a surname - so likely a clue to dad. Hope I can find something. |

I love you! Not sure how straightforward this would be, but I would be sooo grateful if you could check a baptism for me. Its in Langham, North Norfolk BARNES, Ruth born 25 Jan 1846. I know she was illegitimate, but I am hoping there may be a clue to her father in the baptism records - clutching straws. many thanks in advance. nell |

I am going to NRO tomorrow. As it takes me ages of flapping around to find the right records, if anyone has a really easy straightforward Norfolk look up I will do my best. The office is only open 3 hours tomorrow. |
