Its been a long time since I looked at this site but well worth it. Just found a list of householders in 1694 in St Dunstan Stepney - looks like I may have found one of my James Hansons possibly. Certainly interesting

I recommend this site too, it has some very interesting info on places in London. I found out that the area where my grandparents married in 1907 (Stoke Newington) had a higher-than-average number of lung infections and that the church where they married was very 'high' church indeed. It's helped me locate lost streets and filled in a lot of background. nell

Thanks for this web site - but what is an SVB plugin, please? Where do you get this? I wanted to look at maps and Ineed this. Sorry, but I'm a newbie Anne
