Thanks Nat. I am assuming it means Ratcliff as that was part of Stepney, unless anyone knows any other place it could mean? Yes, def widower isnt it. Thats what I thought. But wonder where the kids of previous marriage went? Possibly dead I guess along with mum in some sort of eperdemic. |

Hi Heather It looks like Charlotte was a spinster and James a widow. It says they are both from 'Ratf'. I'm not sure which part of London this is an abbreviation of, though! Hope this helps! Nat |

Can anyone check out the Pallots Marriage in 1805 in St Dunstan Stepney between my GGFx3 James Hanson and Charlotte Davis please. Does it say he is a widow and are they both from Ratcliff? Thats what I think anyway. Thanks |
