Been trying to get on the Scotland site and after filling in the registration form, got a message to say I`d get an e-mail from the unmanned site and could then search. Three hours later I`m still waiting.....how long does this take? When do you pay? I expected to pay after registration, so do you pay later? Jay. Sorry about that. Think I received my email within a few minutes. You don't pay till you want to look up, then you have a week to use up your credits. It's a great site and well worth paying for the look-ups as you can print out the images of births and marriage entries. Check your pc can see the image before you pay anything as it took me ages to get things right, there should be a test image somewhere telling you what to do. Happy searching Josie Oh by the way try registering again that might hurry things up and I'll look up a site that you can enter your entries on back in a mo.

I would try and register again if I were you, I think the email should be more or less instantaneous. Perhaps you mistyped your email address? If you still have no joy after trying to register again send them an email. Kate.

Hi June, I know everyone's not as daft as me, but have you looked in your junk mail? I remember when I first joined a few years back, I had the same problem, and eventually discovered that the email had gone into my junk mail folder. Worth a try, good luck Christine
