Just rechecked email British Library sent me and original details I found had her death as Blackheath London and Library said it would be Sydenham Times as that covered Blackheath. Orginal details found on Newspaper detectives site and they say contct British Library or Surrey centre so thats why I put it. Am getting totally confued now but never mind. Will try to find email address for lewisham to contact them, worked for me when needed one for Nottingham |

Blackheath is certainly in the borough of Lewisham, so is Sydenham. If you follow the website for lewisham council which is lewisham(.)gov(.)uk = remove brackets. search for family history, gives a bit of info. Other local newspapers are The Mercury or The Newshopper or the Kentish Times. The Mercury may have been around back then? Good luck, |
