Hi, just thought I would mention, I have put my FTM2005 family tree on the family homepage website. Before transferring, I made sure that I clicked 'privatise all lviing people'. Great, checked, they do not appear except for names. I just had a mail from someone who seems to be related through my GGFx3 and he added - 'isnt it strange, we have the same birthday'. Quickly I go back to the family home page - nope my birthdate isnt shown so I mailed him. What a dope I am, on the home page I had added a PDF tree for one line of my ancestors going back to 1550 and of course there is my date of birth and that of my sons etc for all the world to see. Just a tip in case you do something similar! |
