Lynne you are right, when you go to make any kind of alteration on the person it won't accept it unless you enter country. What a pain. |

I uploaded my tree from a gedcom and I have just checked - none of mine have a country selected even though there is a star against it! Maybe if I make any alterations to a person I will have to input a country? |

I am constantly making place changes on my tree. Assume England for now. When you know for sure, you can change it. Rose |

I went to alter something on my tree tonight and found you have to enter Country of Birth. Thats fine if you know but what if you don't, under place of birth you can enter unknown but you must use something in the dropdown list for country. I've had to put England for this person but I really don't know for sure. |
