Hi all, if anyone has a credit or two would or could you do a lookup for me please for the marriage of WILLIAM LEE actual date of marriage 4 August 1872 in LONDON. his wifes name was GEORGINA VERDON. im asking please because I believe the on the IGI they have WILLIAMs surname down as LAY and not LEE. My WILLIAM married a lady from LONDON first name GEORGINA and Im hoping and hoping that its WILLIAM LEE and NOT 'LAY' thanks ever so much. TED.

Hi Ted Sorry to be the bearer of bad news .... Marriage of WILLIAM LAY to GEORGINA VERDON registered in third quarter of 1872, London C, vol 1c, page 110. Mandy :)

Ted - you could have checked on FreeBMD and seen it was given as 'Lay' on there too, although the image of that one is not available on there. Kate.
